Foreign national driving vehicle with illegal emergency lights caught!
A foreign national who was driving a vehicle with illegal emergency lights in Istanbul shared the footage on their social media account. The individual was subsequently detained and handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for deportation.
Officers from the Istanbul Police Department's Anti-Migrant Smuggling Branch launched an investigation into footage shared on various social media platforms under the title "Foreign national driving a vehicle with illegal emergency lights in Istanbul." Within this framework, it was determined that a vehicle was traveling in traffic using illegal emergency lights. The license plate of the vehicle was identified, and the driver was determined to be an individual named O.Y. The suspect, O.Y., was apprehended at his home and taken into custody.
It was learned that after the completion of administrative procedures for the offense of "Disturbing Public Order," the detained individual was handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management to be sent back to his home country.
