A controversial dialogue took place on the Gece Görüşü program, hosted by Hande Fırat on CNN Türk, a channel known for its proximity to the government.
During the program, which featured former Minister of State for the Economy Dr. Masum Türker and journalists Zafer Şahin, İsmet Özçelik, and Melik Yiğitel as guests, the nightclub scene in the TV series 'İnci Taneleri', broadcast on Kanal D, was discussed.
Journalist Zafer Şahin asked Hande Fırat, "Are you watching the 'İnci Taneleri' series that started on Kanal D over there?"
Hande Fırat replied, "Since you constantly watch the promos during commercial breaks, I thought I might as well watch the show. I wonder if a person can constantly watch the 'İnci Taneleri' promo during every commercial break."
Former Minister of State Masum Türker responded to Hande Fırat's question, "Minister, have you watched it?" by saying, "Seriously though... Are there such beautiful women in nightclubs?"
The laughter from those in the studio drew backlash.
