In Aksaray, 37-year-old Y.E., who had a 17-year prison sentence for drug trafficking, was apprehended in a detached house following a close pursuit by police teams. As the teams surrounded the house where Y.E. was hiding, the individual climbed onto the roof of the house's shed in an attempt to escape. In response to the police's calls to "come down," he replied, "I served 10 years, don't come, brother, I'll kill myself. I can't go back to prison." Realizing he could not escape, Y.E. eventually surrendered.
After his processing at the police station, the individual was referred to the courthouse and was subsequently arrested and sent to prison.
