Halk TV crew attacked by managers of illegal Quran course in İzmir!

Managers of an illegal Quran course in İzmir attempted to intervene against a Halk TV crew. The individuals, who forcibly entered the vehicle where the Halk TV team was located, tried to force the journalists to delete the footage they had recorded.

The community members who intervened against the Halk TV crew forcibly boarded the press vehicle and tried to make the team delete the footage they had captured.

"YOU ARE PROVOKING US"

They entered the vehicle, detained the journalists, and filmed them. One of the individuals told reporter Yağmur Beril Varol, "You are provoking us. While trying to do journalism, while trying to make headlines, you are pitting people against each other." Varol responded by stating that they would file a complaint against them.

It was stated that the illegal structure in question is a dormitory and Quran course building belonging to the İsmailağa Community. It is alleged that there is a demolition order for the structure, but it began operating shortly ago despite this.
