Mustafa Gülser, who killed English teacher Katie Erorbay with a firearm on February 1, 2024, in front of a kindergarten in Kartal Orhantepe after forcing her out of the car she had boarded to go home, was taken into custody following his treatment and brought to the Murder Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate.
It was learned that Mustafa Gülser, who works as a taxi driver, stated in his testimony, "We had a relationship. I was very jealous of her. I went crazy when I saw a man with her. I wanted to kill her and take my own life."
In their statements on the day of the incident, Katie Erorbay's friends had claimed that this individual was obsessed with Katie Erorbay and would come to the school every day at dismissal time to harass her.
Suspect Mustafa Gülser was referred to the courthouse following his interrogation at the Murder Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate.
