He made everyone laugh with his famous video: 'Zavadanak Bekir' enters politics, officially announces his candidacy
Bekir Varol, who made everyone laugh with his words "It hit me zavadanak" (bam!) after a traffic accident he had in Antalya during the pandemic, has announced that he is running for village head (muhtar).
Bekir Varol, who became a social media sensation after a traffic accident in Manavgat on March 15, 2020, when he asked the other driver "Were you running away from Corona?" and told the traffic police "It hit me zavadanak," has announced that he is running for muhtar (village head) of his mother's village, Seydiler, in the elections to be held on March 31, 2024.
Bekir Varol said, "I have decided to run for muhtar from my mother's village, Seydiler. Using the social media power I currently have, I will solve my village's problems such as roads, water, and electricity 'zavadanak' (in a flash). I am asking for the support of my fellow villagers to make Seydiler not just a livable place, but a place where one enjoys living. You will come to the ballot box. You will cast your votes 'zavadanak'. We will say hello to a beautiful life 'zavadanak'."
