He shot himself while taking out his gun to show his friend

In the incident that occurred at midnight on the road to Yeşilova town in the Aratol İstiklal neighborhood, T.D. (36), who was sitting in a car with his friends on the side of the road, wanted to show his friends the unlicensed rifle he was carrying in his vehicle.

SHOT IN THE GROIN

T.D., who wanted to take out the rifle he had hidden under the car seat, was wounded in the groin when the rifle discharged. As T.D. collapsed to the ground covered in blood, his friends immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

The 112 Emergency Assistance teams that arrived at the scene took the injured person to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital Emergency Department.

LIFE-THREATENING CONDITION CONTINUES

While it was learned that the life-threatening condition of T.D., who was taken under treatment there, continues, the Crime Scene Investigation Branch teams conducted a comprehensive investigation at the scene.

While an investigation into the incident has been initiated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the rifle was taken into custody by police teams for examination.
