Horrific incident in Bursa: Driver turns back in pickup truck and runs over pedestrian!
In the Gemlik district of Bursa, a driver who hit and injured a person he had argued with using his pickup truck has been arrested. It is alleged that the argument between the individuals was caused by 'kicking up dust'.
In the Ata neighborhood of Bursa's Gemlik district, Hasan Hüseyin Ç. (28), who was driving his pickup truck, encountered Kazım Koç (38), a pedestrian on Sanayi Street with whom he had a prior dispute.
Hasan Hüseyin Ç. stopped his vehicle, spoke with Koç for a while, and then continued on his way following an argument between them.
After driving a few meters, Hasan Hüseyin Ç. turned back, hit Koç with his pickup truck, and fled the scene.
The injured Kazım Koç was taken to the hospital for treatment.
It was learned that Hasan Hüseyin Ç., who was taken into custody by the police, stated in his initial testimony that he lost control after the argument, could not think clearly, and therefore committed the act.
After being processed at the police station, Hasan Hüseyin Ç. was referred to the courthouse and arrested by the presiding judge on charges of "intentional injury".
Security camera footage from a nearby business shows Hasan Hüseyin Ç. maneuvering his vehicle after the argument and hitting Kazım Koç.
