In the operations carried out by the Istanbul Police Department's Istanbul Airport Branch, Hüda Kaya, who arrived at the passport control point to depart from Turkey on an Istanbul-Hamburg flight, underwent checks during the procedures conducted at the Istanbul Airport VIP Passport control point on 06.07.2023.

FOUND TO HAVE AN ARREST WARRANT

During the checks performed on Kaya, it was determined that she was wanted for the crimes of disrupting the unity and integrity of the state, providing benefits to a terrorist organization by way of obstructing roads by utilizing the intimidating power of existing or presumed criminal organizations, depriving a person of their liberty through force, threat, or deception, and committing murder for the purpose of concealing a crime, hiding evidence of another crime, or avoiding capture.

ARRESTED AND SENT TO PRISON

Hüda Kaya was taken into custody. The individual, who was identified as 27th Term HDP MP Hüda Kaya, was sent to prison by the judicial authorities after her procedures at the police station were completed.
