As reactions continue following the opening of Istanbul University campuses to visitors, independent IMM mayoral candidate Taylan Yıldız stated that he was able to enter a lecture at the university without any obstruction.
In recent days, it was announced by a 'rector' decision that Istanbul University would be opened to domestic and foreign visitors, and with the start of the practice, footage claiming that visitors were entering lecture halls drew backlash on social media.
HE WALKED RIGHT IN
Independent Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Taylan Yıldız went to Istanbul University today and attended a Constitutional Law lecture.
Reacting to the fact that he was able to walk right into the university, Yıldız said, "I entered the campus and then the lecture at Istanbul University without encountering any obstacles. Anyone who passes through the university gate can enter the classes. There is no one to stop you, nothing at all."
