Ipekci's assassin Agca threatens lieutenants on Akit TV

Mehmet Ali Agca, known as the assassin of Abdi Ipekci and a suspect in the assassination attempt on the Pope, made statements targeting the Turkish army and its soldiers during a television program on Akit TV, a channel known for its reactionary editorial policy and for targeting the Republic of Turkey and its founding leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk at every opportunity. 

Using threatening language toward the lieutenants who said "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal" at their graduation ceremony, Agca also wagged his finger at President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on screen. 

Agca continued his controversial claims by alleging that the Turkish bureaucracy is "in the hands of Satanists and Zionists." 

The language Agca used on the program sparked a wide reaction on social media, with many arguing that these statements should be subject to legal scrutiny.

Following these remarks, which have stirred public debate, it remains to be seen whether authorities will take any action regarding Agca's statements. 

On the other hand, Agca's use of such threatening and divisive rhetoric on television screens has also become a target of criticism regarding media ethics.
