Journalist Özlem Gürses tears up: 'I guess we failed'

Sharing her thoughts while experiencing emotional moments, Gürses said, ''I guess we failed to achieve the country we dreamed of, the development we dreamed of, the justice we dreamed of, the humanity we dreamed of.''

Gürses's statements are as follows:

''I guess we failed, it didn't happen, we couldn't do it. I guess we failed to achieve the country we dreamed of, the development we dreamed of, the justice we dreamed of, the humanity we dreamed of. I feel very responsible. Unfortunately, our generation could not manage to produce a leader who would ignite the dynamo and power of change; who would truly change things for the better. Maybe it just seems that way to me, I don't know.
