According to the information obtained, a fire broke out for an unknown reason at 11:50 AM at a chemical warehouse located on Milas Street in the Başakşehir İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone. The fire spread in a short time. While the dense smoke covering the area could be seen from kilometers away, numerous fire crews were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
The warehouse turned into a literal fireball. Fire crews reaching the scene intervened in the warehouse, where explosions were also occurring from time to time. While the crews' efforts to extinguish the fire continue, the warehouse where the flames rose was captured from the air.
FLAMES SPREAD TO CARS
The flames also spread to cars parked in the area adjacent to the warehouse. Precautions were taken to prevent the fire, where explosion sounds were also heard, from spreading to the sacrificial animal sales area, gas station, and natural gas tanks around the warehouse.

Sacrificial animals are being evacuated by fire crews. Police teams also moved citizens in the vicinity away from the area due to the risk of explosion.

Traffic congestion occurred in the region due to the fire.
