The incident took place in a five-storey apartment building in the Hüseyin Avni Ulaş neighbourhood.
Hüseyin Ergün, who had climbed to the roof to clear snow, suddenly slipped and was saved from falling to the ground by the rope he had tied around his waist, leaving him suspended from the rooftop. After nearby residents noticed the situation, they climbed to the roof and launched a rescue effort. Three people successfully rescued Ergün safely through their intervention.
The moment of Ergün's rescue was captured on camera by a nearby resident using a mobile phone.
