Master journalist Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu asked, Hüsnü Bozkurt answered: Where the hell is your honor!!!
The guest on the program '12'den' with Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu, broadcast on 12punto, was Hüsnü Bozkurt, Chairman of the Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) and 26th Term CHP Deputy. Bozkurt made important assessments regarding the current agenda.
Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) Chairman and 26th Term CHP Deputy Hüsnü Bozkurt answered questions from master journalist Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu on 12punto.
Regarding the term 'snob' (züppe) used by Tuncay Özkan towards Erdoğan, Hüsnü Bozkurt stated that this expression does not constitute an insult, saying, 'This word describes behavior that society does not welcome. However, the President has insulted opposition deputies and citizens with much harsher expressions. No prosecutor has taken action on this matter,' he said.
POLITICAL PROPAGANDA IS BEING CONDUCTED THROUGH THE VICTORY OF MALAZGIRT
Bozkurt also asked questions about structures such as the Ahlat Palace, Okluk Palace, and Vahdettin Pavilion and addressed the government as follows:
''Because the minimum wage has become 17,000 TL, discounted sunbeds are being promised to retirees at beach resorts. Instead of dealing with the real problems of this country, political propaganda is being conducted through the Great Offensive and the Victory of Malazgirt''
Speaking also on national holidays and national values, Bozkurt stated that the government belittles these national values and noted the following:
''The Great Offensive and the Victory of Malazgirt are important turning points in the history of the Turkish nation. However, the government belittles these national values and ignores national holidays. By paralyzing our education system and tearing apart national unity, they are trying to implement an imperialist project''
Öztürk criticized the government and current policies in harsh language, saying, 'You cannot be even a fingernail that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, cut off. Malazgirt and the Great Offensive are ours, the August 30 Victory Day is ours. Protecting the values of this nation is the duty of every individual.'
THE GREATEST GOAL OF IMPERIALISM IS TO MAKE PEOPLE FORGET NATIONAL VALUES
Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) Chairman and 26th Term CHP Deputy Hüsnü Bozkurt also drew attention to the effects of imperialism on Turkey and its attacks on national values. Öztürk said, ''The greatest goal of imperialism is to make people forget historical and national values, destroy education, and tear apart national unity.''
HÜDA-PAR IS A FIGURE HOSTILE TO THE REPUBLIC
Hüsnü Bozkurt criticized the policies of HÜDA-PAR in particular, using the expressions, ''The HÜDA-PAR chairman is a sharia-advocating figure hostile to the republic. As a party that does not use the Turkish flag and belittles national values, this group, which does not compromise on its own views, is constantly demanding concessions.''
Stating that there are similar approaches in parliament, Öztürk said, 'While HÜDA-PAR and other similar structures receive salaries with the money of the Turkish nation, they do not show respect for the values and flag of the Republic of Turkey.'
A MASSACRE OF LAW OCCURRED IN THE OSMAN KAVALA CASE
Touching upon the current lawlessness regarding Osman Kavala and other detainees, Bozkurt said, ''The situations of Osman Kavala and others like him are not just isolated incidents, but part of the long-term plans of imperialism. Massacres of law are taking place, but these isolated incidents should be evaluated as part of a larger plan.''
WHERE ARE THE WEAPONS THAT DISAPPEARED ON THE NIGHT OF JULY 15?
Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) Chairman and 26th Term CHP Deputy Hüsnü Bozkurt drew attention to the fate of the over 100,000 heavy weapons that disappeared on the night of July 15, asking, 'Where are these weapons? For what purpose are they being hidden? Did you bury them?'
Making criticisms regarding the government's international reputation, Bozkurt said, ''Where is the reputation of the Republic of Turkey? Mustafa Kemal did not have overseas trips, but leaders from 30 different countries came to our country. Apart from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, there is no one coming or going.' Öztürk also criticized the ostentatious events held in Ahlat, stating, 'The minimum wage is 17,000 TL, retirees' salaries are 12,500 TL. While these economic difficulties exist, these problems cannot be solved with ostentation.'
ROOT AND BRANCH CHANGES ARE ESSENTIAL
Making criticisms regarding the CHP administration, Hüsnü Bozkurt said, ''CHP and the opposition must stop making politics based on opposition to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. They have paralyzed our education system, we must focus on this. The CHP needs to wake up in the person of Özgür Özel. It is now essential for the CHP to take a clear stance and make root and branch changes in education.''
Öztürk also touched upon the CHP's shortcomings regarding the fight against corruption, saying, 'On the day the CHP comes to power, civil servants and public officials must be protected by strict laws so that they do not get involved in corruption. The law must be deterrent and must be enforced. The nation wants to see the CHP's clear steps on education and corruption.'
'THERE IS NO NEED TO GLORIFY OR VILIFY THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE'
Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) Chairman and 26th Term CHP Deputy Hüsnü Bozkurt also made important assessments about historical figures and current policies.
Bozkurt evaluated various figures of the Ottoman period, saying, ''Abdülhamit was also a human; with his mistakes and merits, he is our ancestor. Vahdettin, on the other hand, is a traitor, but he is a child of this nation. He may be a traitor, but this country owes a debt to Mustafa Kemal, the Kuvay-i Milliye, and the 8-year-old martyr Hüsnu, son of Ömer from Bozkır.''
Hüsnü Öztürk evaluated the events that took place during the Ottoman period, saying, ''Vahdettin surrendered to the British, but those who made this land a homeland are Mustafa Kemal and the Kuvay-i Milliye. Abdülhamit, Alparslan, Yavuz Sultan Selim, and other Ottoman sultans are part of our history. There is no need to glorify or vilify the Ottoman Empire.''
THEY DECEIVED THE NATION WITH RELIGION
Criticizing current politics through historical figures, Bozkurt said, ''They deceived the nation through religion and faith. Look at the photograph of Sheikh Subar Sultan taken with Caliph Abdülmecid at the Dolmabahçe Wharf. While the families of the caliphs could travel in Europe, we were deceived here through religion and faith.''
'THE REAL ISSUE IS HOW THE CHP WILL COME TO POWER'
Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) Chairman and 26th Term CHP Deputy Hüsnü Bozkurt shared his views on the leadership race of the Republican People's Party (CHP) and emphasized the importance of the chairmanship position in the party.
Öztürk touched upon the leadership and candidacy discussions in the CHP by giving examples of former AKP leaders Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Abdüllatif Şener, Bülent Arınç, and Abdullah Gül.
Pointing to the uncertainty regarding whether CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will be a candidate, Bozkurt said, ''Özgür Özel is an important politician who came to the CHP Chairmanship at the age of 49. However, the issue right now is not who will be the CHP's presidential candidate; the issue is how the CHP will come to power.''
Hüsnü Bozkurt stated that the CHP must create a correct government program and convince the public, saying, ''If the CHP cannot convince the public, the person you show as a candidate cannot become President.''
Hüsnü Bozkurt emphasized the importance of gaining the trust of society, asking the question, ''The problem is not just who the CHP's presidential candidate will be, but whether the government in Turkey will change or not. How will you rebuild trust in the judiciary, education, and health?''
In general, he stated that the CHP must develop an effective government program by gaining the trust of society, and that success cannot be achieved only with candidacy discussions.
WE ARE FACING A SYSTEM OF PLUNDER AND DESTRUCTION
Making statements on the deep poverty experienced in our country, Hüsnü Bozkurt criticized the current government's practices in economy and public administration, stating that this process cannot be defined as “corruption,” but rather as a system of “plunder” and “destruction.”
Öztürk stated that the government has handed over public institutions and state investments to religious sects, saying, “This is not corruption, but an operation aimed at taking away the state's means of intervening in the economy. There is a plan to hand it over to imperial powers under the guise of sects.” Stating that the influence of sects on the economy is provided through donations made to foundations and statuses for public benefit, Öztürk defined these practices not as a “system of plunder,” but as a “system of destruction.”
THEY ARE AFRAID OF BEING TRIED
Hüsnü Öztürk stated that the government acts with the anxiety of remaining in power to escape from major corruption and poverty, saying, “They are afraid of being tried and having their assets confiscated.”
He said that the current economic situation and poverty are the government's effort to “erase Turkey from history.”
Öztürk emphasized that politicians and the political institution must produce solutions, saying, “They must explain and implement the solutions that will fix this system. Talking about the current situation does not go beyond carrying water to this mill.”
