'Medusa's Tuesday: An AKP Documentary' premiere held

The premiere event, which began at 19:30 on the evening of May 9, 2025, saw high attendance. 

The Istanbul premiere, held at the cinema located in the Kadıköy Passage, was attended by prominent figures from the worlds of academia, politics, publishing, and media. 

A PRODUCT OF COLLECTIVE WORK

Following the screening, solhaber.com.tr Editor-in-Chief Yiğit Günay gave a short speech, stating that a collective effort was demonstrated during the production process of the documentary. 

Günay expressed that the production was prepared with a team spirit and sheds light on an important period of political history.

Prepared with the research and narration of Deniz Sözüak, “Medusa’s Tuesday” examines in detail the political and social transformations Turkey has experienced throughout the AKP government. 

The documentary conveys the significant events that occurred during this process to the audience from a chronological perspective.
