Minister Yerlikaya announced: 144 detained in illegal betting operation carried out in 36 provinces

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of the "Sibergöz-10" operation via his X account.

Yerlikaya stated the following:

"A total of 144 suspects were apprehended in the “SİBERGÖZ-10” operations, which were carried out simultaneously in 36 provinces as part of the fight against Payment Systems and Cyber Crimes, Illegal Betting, Proceeds of Crime, and Online Child Sexual Abuse and Harassment.

It was determined that 19 of the apprehended suspects were wanted with finalized prison sentences of 0-5 years, and 2 suspects with sentences of 5-10 years.

During the operations, 4 residences, 10 plots of land, 1 private boat, 3 luxury brand vehicles, and 2 motorcycles were seized. Crypto assets worth 850,000 dollars, 3 crypto asset cold wallets, 4,210,000 TL, 101,634 Dollars, and 101,090 Euros, as well as handguns, various amounts of narcotics, and a large number of digital materials were confiscated."
