Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the details of the "Kafes-22" operation on his X account. Yerlikaya stated the following:
"302 suspects were apprehended in the "Kafes-22" operations carried out simultaneously against members of financial crime organizations in 63 of our provinces!
According to initial findings in the operations;
18 unlicensed firearms, 64 fake master/journeyman certificates, 23 fake medical discharge and disability reports, 479 SIM cards issued in the names of other individuals, numerous checks, promissory notes and documents, and 396 printed and ready-to-print fake license plates were seized. A workshop where fake license plates were produced was uncovered."
