National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Chief İbrahim Kalın traveled to Damascus, the capital of Syria, following the fall of the Assad regime.
While visiting the Umayyad Mosque, Kalın was greeted by a large crowd upon exiting the mosque.

The recorded footage shows Kalın leaving the mosque accompanied by a dense crowd.
According to a Reuters report, MIT Chief Kalın will hold significant meetings during his visit to Syria.
İbrahim Kalın is set to meet with opposition leader Jolani and interim Prime Minister Bashir in Damascus.
