HTS attacks against Alawites in Syria have reached the level of a massacre. Since the first day they took control, terrorist attacks against unarmed and defenseless Alawite civilians have turned into a virtual genocide.
Journalist Merdan Yanardağ revealed the extent of the attacks against Alawite civilians in a video he shared on his social media account.
Stating that "crimes against humanity are being committed," Yanardağ said, "The world must stop the sectarian-terrorist HTS," and added, "Turkey must intervene."

Veteran journalist and 12punto columnist Tuncay Mollaveisoğlu also shared the video posted by Merdan Yanardağ on his own page and commented on the massacre in the region:
"Turkey cannot remain a spectator to this brutality! Every scenario we feared, predicted, and were concerned about in Syria is coming true!" he stated.
