Motorcyclist crushed to death under truck; moment of accident caught on camera

In a tragic accident that occurred in the Narlıca neighborhood of Antakya district, a motorcycle rider lost his life after being trapped under a truck. The motorcycle, operated by Hüseyin İlhanlı, ended up under the truck driven by R.T. at an intersection. Following the incident, police and ambulance teams were dispatched to the scene after local citizens notified the 112 Emergency Call Center.

İlhanlı, the motorcycle rider who was crushed under the truck, died at the scene. The moment of the accident was reflected second by second on security cameras. After the incident, a funeral vehicle transported İlhanlı's body to the morgue. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.

NEIGHBORHOOD HEADMAN: 'MORE CAUTION IS NEEDED'

Evaluating the accident, Narlıca Neighborhood Headman Şakir Konuşkan stated that both motorcycle and truck drivers need to be more careful. Konuşkan said, "The motorcyclist coming from the side road did not notice the truck. The truck driver also did not see the motorcycle. That is why a tragic accident occurred. We do not want such incidents to happen. Heavy-tonnage vehicles pass through here very frequently. We expect truck drivers to be more careful. Furthermore, we believe that trucks should be inspected and their tonnage should be reduced."

Following the accident, the police are continuing their investigation into the incident, and a warning has been issued for drivers in the region to be cautious.
