Motorcyclist who narrowly escaped death in Kağıthane fined 2,886 TL
In Kağıthane, a motorcycle rider broke the side mirror of a driver he had an argument with and then crashed into a commercial taxi driving in front of him. The motorcycle rider was issued a fine of 2,886 TL.

On January 27, 2024, at the Kağıthane Okmeydanı TEM South entrance junction, a motorcycle rider allegedly broke the rearview mirror of a vehicle belonging to a driver he had an argument with in traffic and then caused an accident by crashing into a commercial taxi driving in front of him.
FINE ISSUED
Following the footage published on 12punto.com.tr, the Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate teams launched an investigation and detained the motorcycle rider, identified as U.O., after determining his license plate from the footage. A total fine of 2,886 TL was imposed on the suspect U.O., consisting of 1,506 TL for "dangerous lane changing," 609 TL for "tailgating," and 690 TL for "driving disrespectfully."
The motorcycle rider, U.O., who was taken to the Sadabat Police Station, also faced legal proceedings for endangering traffic safety.
