Narin's father Arif Güran speaks out for the first time after the indictment!

The investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe neighborhood of the central Bağlar district and whose lifeless body was found in the Eğertutmaz stream on September 8, has been completed. The indictment prepared against the four detained suspects—mother Yüksel Güran, brother Enes, uncle Salim Güran, and neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar—requesting aggravated life imprisonment for the crime of "intentional killing of a child in complicity" has been accepted by the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court.

FATHER GÜRAN SPEAKS OUT FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER THE INDICTMENT

Father Arif Güran spoke for the first time since the indictment was issued. Speaking to an İhlas News Agency (İHA) reporter, Güran stated that he knows in his heart who committed this atrocity and argued that there are two cameras that would clearly clarify the murder.

Stating that everything will be clarified once the footage from these cameras is revealed, Güran said, "They say in this indictment that your wife, your son, your brother, and Nevzat—Nevzat Bahtiyar—cannot enter my house. Under normal circumstances, Nevzat Bahtiyar cannot enter my house either. If he did come, he would have sat either on the balcony or in the garden. They are taking my life, and then they go and take my son, my wife, and my brother into custody. My daughter has become a symbol of Turkey. The public clearly wants this murder to be solved. 50 bar association presidents will attend the court. Let them attend; they are attending for me. Even if we aren't told to go by force, we will go."

"THE MOST IMPORTANT EVIDENCE IS NOT IN THE INDICTMENT"

"The only thing that matters here is who committed this murder. There are two cameras that serve as evidence for this murder, and they are not in the indictment," Güran said. "Right now, there is a camera 800 meters across from me. From the very first day, I have said my daughter did not go up there. This can be verified; there is a camera 800 meters away with a bird's-eye view. There is an airport camera. Is it that hard to release a camera recording?" Arif Güran continued as follows:

"Across from the house, there is a camera at the Dara-2 military base. There are three cameras there. They say the sun hit them. Did the sun also hit Nevzat when he went to the stream? It is right across from us now. Even standing at this spot, we cannot even see my daughter going up the ramp. I am not asking for much. From the first day, I have been saying that my daughter did not cross this path. There is an airport city security management system across from us, with facial recognition up to 20 kilometers. It is measured at 5 kilometers bird's-eye view from here. It sees this ramp. Did my daughter go up or not? What do you want from us?"

"I MAY HAVE 5 CHILDREN, BUT MY DAUGHTER WAS DIFFERENT"

Arif Güran continued his remarks as follows:

"They say HTS, okay, there is HTS, that is true. Nevzat did not let my daughter go up the ramp. That savage man did not let my daughter leave. If you come here, the HTS signal shifts two meters and it lands in my living room. If you come here, it lands inside my kitchen. If you come here, it lands in my lounge. Can a single point be this imprecise? What kind of determination is this? It is not evidence to me. Today, it does not matter to me if they all get life sentences. The person who committed my daughter's murder is not clear. I want Dara-2 to be included in the indictment. If it is included in the indictment, the murder will be solved. The killer or killers will be identified."

"THEY ARE KEEPING A MOTHER IN PRISON BY LISTENING TO THE WORDS OF A KILLER"

Claiming that there is no one other than Nevzat Bahtiyar who is the killer, Güran said, "He is slandering. And the state is currently keeping a mother in prison by listening to the words of a killer. It is keeping a brother and an uncle in prison. If there is evidence or a finding, let them keep them. I have nothing to say to that. In my eyes, they are my family; if they are suspects in the eyes of the state, they are in prison. I have not even gone to the prison until today. I have not visited anyone either. What is the reason, why didn't I go? My daughter was different for me. My world, my life was my daughter. I may have 5 children, but my daughter was different. May God not let my rights go unavenged."
