In Manisa, a substance-addicted individual who attacked and injured a taxi driver with a knife in an attempt to rob him has been taken back into custody following the examination of security camera footage.
In Manisa, a detention order has been re-issued for the attacker, E.Ü., who injured taxi driver Hakan Paktan with a knife on November 29 in an attempt to rob him, following the examination of security camera footage.

In a written statement issued by the Manisa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated: "Within the scope of the investigation initiated by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the attack on commercial taxi driver H.P. in the Akgedik neighborhood of the Yunusemre district of our province on November 29, 2024, at approximately 00:00, the suspect E.Ü. was taken into custody and a judicial control decision was applied by the Criminal Court of Peace.

Upon the submission of the footage of the incident inside the commercial vehicle to our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office by law enforcement units on December 12, 2024, and the subsequent examination, a detention order was issued by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the suspect as this footage constitutes new evidence. The investigation is being conducted meticulously."
