At the Santa Maria Italian Church in Sarıyer, it is seen that two masked attackers entered through the open door of the church just before the armed attack that took place yesterday (January 28, 2024). The moment the two masked suspects entered through the main door minutes before the incident was recorded by security cameras.
THEY HAD OPENED THE DOOR FOR TUNCER CİHAN SECONDS EARLIER
In the footage, the two masked individuals enter through the main door and wait for a while in front of the church's inner door. It is then seen that the attackers opened the inner door for Tuncer Cihan, who was entering the church, and carried out the attack immediately afterward.
THE WEAPON JAMMED
In the continuation of the footage, it is also reflected in the camera recordings that the weapon used by one of the attackers jammed.
