Following the support vigil initiated by the CHP Youth Branches, the Istanbul Governor's Office declared a three-day ban on protests. While the provincial building was surrounded by police barriers, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel called on party members to "protect the father's hearth."

Tanal reacted to this scene and addressed the male police officers nearby: "Why are you making a female police officer carry such a load? All the men are just watching, it's a shame... Help our colleague," he said, drawing attention to the situation.
