Operation in 46 provinces: Over 1 ton of drugs seized!

In a post on his social media account, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 1 ton and 340 kilograms of narcotics were seized and 364 drug traffickers and street dealers were apprehended during the 'Narkogüç-42' operations, which were carried out in 46 provinces targeting drug manufacturers, distributors, and street-level dealers.

Yerlikaya stated that the operations conducted across 46 provinces were carried out under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security, the Gendarmerie General Command, and the Anti-Narcotic Crimes Department, with the participation of 332 teams, 1,375 personnel, 1 aircraft, and 19 narcotic detector dogs from the Provincial Police Departments' Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branches and Provincial Gendarmerie Commands.

In his post, Yerlikaya provided details regarding the operations conducted in the provinces of Malatya, Ankara, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Sakarya, Kars, Adana, İzmir, Batman, Kırklareli, Diyarbakır, Mersin, Antalya, Bursa, İstanbul, Edirne, Karaman, Tokat, Elazığ, Amasya, Osmaniye, Kocaeli, Konya, Samsun, Aydın, Tekirdağ, Çorum, Kırşehir, Balıkesir, Isparta, Hatay, Kayseri, Eskişehir, Kütahya, Sivas, Siirt, Muğla, Aksaray, Kahramanmaraş, Çanakkale, Manisa, Adıyaman, Kastamonu, Erzurum, Düzce, and Yalova.

The narcotics and drug traffickers captured in the 'Narkogüç-42' operations are as follows:

In the operation conducted by the Istanbul Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch: 395 kg and 700 grams of methamphetamine, 56 kg and 350 grams of cocaine,

102,360 narcotic pills were seized. A total of 10 drug traffickers, 6 of whom are foreign nationals, were apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch: 10,906 narcotic pills were seized. 1 drug trafficker was apprehended.

In the operation conducted by the Adana Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch: 118 kg of skunk was seized.

In an operation conducted by the Antalya Provincial Gendarmerie Command, 300 grams of heroin and various amounts of methamphetamine and cannabis were seized. 3 drug dealers were apprehended.

In an operation conducted by the Diyarbakır Provincial Gendarmerie Command, 507 kg of cannabis was seized.

In the 'NARKOGÜÇ-42' operations carried out in 46 provinces targeting 'Narcotic Substance Manufacturers,' 'Those Who Sell Them,' and 'Street Dealers':
