The wreath sent by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel at the funeral of Infantry Specialist Sergeant Abdulkadir İyem (25), who was martyred in the Claw-Lock region, had been torn apart.
It was revealed that the person who removed the wreath was Kenan Öztürk, a businessman from Gaziantep and a former AKP parliamentary candidate nominee.

The wreaths sent by IYI Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener and CHP Elazığ Deputy Gürsel Erol to the funeral of Infantry Contracted Private Kemal Aslan in Elazığ were also removed.
The wreaths sent by Akşener and Erol were removed.
