Petlas Board Member Özcan's 'I'll buy Turkey' outburst: He also resorted to profanity

A new incident has been added to the frequently encountered "Do you know who I am?" disputes in the public eye.

This time, the person at the center of the incident was Petlas Board Member Abdülkadir Özcan.

"I'LL BUY TURKEY, COME HERE, YOU!"

According to footage shared on social media, Özcan, who was traveling in "business class" on a Turkish Airlines flight, shouted loudly at a person he was arguing with, saying: "Do you know who I am, huh? I'm a billionaire, man. I'll buy Turkey. Let go, man, come here, man! You son of a b...!" These moments, which caused unease among the passengers, were recorded by other passengers on their mobile phones.

DETAINED, THEN RELEASED

The cabin crew intervened at the scene and managed to calm Özcan down. However, as the tension continued, it was observed that Özcan's hands were restrained to ensure flight safety.

Handed over to security units after the flight, Özcan was released after giving his statement, as there were no complainants.

PLACED ON BLACKLIST

Turkish Airlines Press Consultant Yahya Üstün stated in a post on his social media account that Özcan has been placed on the blacklist.
