Presenter shares footage of herself drifting with the note 'I came to wreck Çam Sakura': Fined thousands of liras

In the incident that took place on the Başakşehir Olympic Road Boulevard on January 14, a female driver shared footage of herself "drifting" with her car on social media with the note, "I came to wreck Çam Sakura."

Following the footage, police from the Civil Traffic Teams Bureau, affiliated with the Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate, launched an investigation.

Examining the footage, the civil traffic police determined that the car used by the driver had the license plate 34 KIN 03 and that the driver was presenter Ahsenur A.

Ahsenur A., who was apprehended and taken into custody by the police, was issued a total administrative fine of 32,923 TL, consisting of 32,233 liras for "drifting" and 690 liras for "driving disrespectfully." The driver's license was confiscated, and her vehicle was banned from traffic.

Furthermore, because the driver of the vehicle with license plate 34 KIN 03, Ahsenur A., was also the owner of the vehicle, the car was banned from traffic for 60 days.

Her driver's license was also temporarily suspended for 60 days.

After the administrative procedures were completed, Ahsenur A. was released upon the instruction of the prosecutor's office following judicial proceedings for "endangering traffic safety" at the police station.
