Tensions rose on the Barometre program, moderated by journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, known for his proximity to the government, on Lider Haber.
A dispute broke out between Mustafa Albayrak, Executive Board Chairman of Yeni Şafak newspaper, and journalist Ümit Zileli.
The argument turned into a profane fight.
Albayrak attacked Zileli with the sentence, "You are currently walking together. You are voting for the same candidate, the same party, along with the Fethullahists." As the atmosphere grew tense over these words, the two individuals hurled insults at each other at the end of the debate.
Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı struggled to intervene, saying, "Things have gotten out of hand."
