Quran recitation at TUSAŞ helicopter delivery ceremony on October 29 Republic Day: Erbaş prayed, did not mention Atatürk
A Quran recitation was held at the T625 Gökbey Helicopter Delivery Ceremony at TUSAŞ, attended by President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Furthermore, in his remarks, which he began by saying "from Badr to the present day," Head of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş did not mention the founder of the Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the T625 Gökbey Helicopter Delivery Ceremony at the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) central campus.
During the ceremony, while the 5 citizens who lost their lives in the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ were commemorated, a Quran recitation was held at the helicopter delivery ceremony.

Immediately after the recitation, Head of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş led a prayer.
In his speech, where he used the words, "For the souls of all our martyrs who have died for religion, for Islam, and for the homeland from Badr to the present day, for the souls of our veterans who have passed away, for the long lives of those who are still alive, for the sake of Allah, Al-Fatiha," Erbaş did not include any mention of the Republic Day, which is being celebrated for the 101st time today, or the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
