Reaction to A Haber during 'May 1st' march: 'What are you doing here?'
Unions attempting to march to Taksim Square for May 1st Labor Day reached the Valens Aqueduct. An A Haber reporter present in the area was met with a reaction. A group told the reporter, "What are you doing here? You are lying," and forced them to leave the area.
Unions that gathered in Saraçhane to march to Taksim Square for May 1st Labor Day encountered a police barricade at the Valens Aqueduct.
Pepper spray was used during the scuffle that broke out in the area.
Many members of the press were affected by the gas and were forced to broadcast while wearing gas masks.
