Russian crime syndicate leader captured in Istanbul!

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that Shamil Amirov, a leader of a crime syndicate operating in Russia who was wanted with a Blue Notice, has been captured in Istanbul.

In his post, Yerlikaya stated, "Our fight against international and national organized crime hubs and drug dealers will continue to increase. We will cut off their breath. It was determined that Shamil AMIROV, who is a member of an organized crime syndicate and for whom a blue notice was issued by Interpol for fraud, was living in Sarıyer, Istanbul, and he was captured in the ‘Kafes-15’ operation. We are determined to cleanse our country of international and national organized crime syndicates. We will capture them one by one and deliver them to justice."
