Search efforts for missing teacher continue: Divers sent to the region
Search efforts are underway for teacher Tanju Oğuz, who went missing in the Akdağmadeni district of Yozgat.
Search efforts for Tanju Oğuz, who went missing at the Akçakışla Pond in the Akdağmadeni district, have entered their second day. Following the missing person report, comprehensive search operations were conducted in the area by 150 personnel, 25 vehicles, 1 tracking dog, 1 cadaver dog, underwater search equipment, and drones, involving AFAD, Gendarmerie, Police, JASAT, JAK, and MEB AKUB teams. Professional divers are searching for any trace of teacher Tanju Oğuz at the designated location using underwater and surface equipment.

Yozgat Governor Mehmet Ali Özkan inspected the search and rescue operations on-site and received information from officials regarding the latest status.

Governor Özkan made the following statements regarding the search efforts:
'Search efforts are continuing on one hand in the surrounding villages and hamlets, on the other hand in the forested and oak-covered areas, and also here at the Akçakışla irrigation pond with surface and underwater operations. We will continue until we find him. If anyone has seen or heard anything, or has any information, reaching out to our Police and Gendarmerie organizations, either in person or via the 112 emergency hotline, will facilitate our work. Hopefully, we will find him safe and sound and return him to his family.'
