She decorated her car like a wedding car on her way to get a divorce
In Bursa, Gülşah Lice, who was heading to the courthouse to divorce her husband of 10 years, decorated her car like a wedding vehicle and had "We are getting divorced" written on the back.
Gülşah Lice, who filed for divorce from her husband Osman, decorated her car and headed to the courthouse on the day of the hearing.
Citizens were stunned when they saw the car, which was decorated like a wedding vehicle but featured signs reading "We are getting divorced" and "Osman, go to hell."
The moments, captured by bystanders on their mobile phones, became a trending topic on social media. Gülşah Lice, whose video quickly became one of the most-watched, did not remain silent in the face of the comments. Claiming that her sisters-in-law, with whom she had never had any problems, were posting comments for publicity, Gülşah Lice did not hold back.
In her statement on social media, Gülşah Lice said the following:

“I kept saying I wouldn't speak, I wouldn't speak. But it's reached a point where I can't stay silent anymore. My two sisters-in-law. They have been commenting on every negative post. I never had any problems with these people. They commented, ‘We told our brother back then. A home-wrecker never has a home of their own.’ Did I break up a home? I was engaged for a year and a half. I was 18-19 years old. Your brother was 32. Did I break up a home? You used to tell me things about his ex-wife. ‘She threw laundry at his face. She did this and that with a suitcase?’ Don't make me tell those stories now. ‘Oh, she didn't suit him. She didn't take care of herself.’
‘Osman should take care of himself, he loves that. You take care of yourself.’ Didn't you feel any shame while writing those words? Do you have no sense of decency at all? You are rude. I have been your daughter-in-law for 10 years, didn't you feel any shame? You came to pick me up with drums and clarinets. You used to say, ‘We’ve come to pick up our Barbie doll.’ What happened? You used to say, ‘You take better care of his children than she did.’ What happened?

‘It’s okay, sister, you’re suffering now, but you’ve won in the afterlife,’ you used to say. What happened? Is it ‘call the bear uncle until you cross the bridge’? You got good publicity thanks to me. I snapped. I took to the streets in my car to announce I’m getting divorced, and under every comment, they write, ‘I am Osman’s sister.’ One sells knitted shoes. It has nothing to do with taxes. She doesn't even have a shop. The other one sews evening gowns at home. She commented on everything too. ‘I am Osman’s sister. We told our brother so many times.’ You sew evening gowns at home. Does the state know about this? Do you pay your taxes? Do you pay taxes on what you sell? You are rude. Who are you messing with? Didn't you feel any shame? I gave birth to two children for you? Didn't you feel any shame for them either?”
The video, which drew significant attention, continues to spark debate on social media platforms.
Sharing another post shortly after, Gülşah Lice stated the following;
“You have sent such beautiful, motivating messages, thank you so much. Women supporting women is a wonderful thing. I am fine, I have no problems. I am at my store. I am trying to calm down with chamomile tea. I am arranging new products. I am busy with the products I made for the New Year. There is no problem. I am trying to stay as calm as I can. But when it comes to my children, I can never stay calm. No mother could stay calm. I have 3 children. I have 2 sons and 1 daughter. My 16-year-old daughter is from my husband's first marriage.
I am not her biological mother. No one, absolutely no one, not even her mother, can make my child go through this psychological trauma. Motherhood? Where were you when I was taking her from school to school? Where were you when I was taking her from hospital to hospital, to dentists and psychiatrists? When I would call you asking, 'Where are you? Her father isn't here,' you would just say, 'It doesn't concern me. It's the time she's supposed to be with her father,' and hang up on me.

What do you mean, 'I will come to that door with the police and take you from there'? How can you put this child through this psychological trauma? My daughter is currently sobbing, saying, 'I don't want to leave you, I don't want to go. I don't want to be separated from my siblings.' This girl is 16 years old. How can you put this girl through this psychological trauma? Haven't you always been like this? Haven't you always sacrificed your children for your own ambitions? It's the same thing again. Just protect your children for once. It's always your own ambitions."

While the court did not reach a decision at the first hearing, the divorce case was adjourned to a later date.
