She was one of the names etched in memory from the disaster in Bolu. The tragic news came regarding Şevval, who jumped from the 12th floor after speaking with her father. The young girl is being laid to rest in her hometown of Bartın amidst tears.
The body of Şevval Şahin, who was severely injured in the tragic incident and lost her battle for life at the Abant İzzet Baysal Research Hospital where she was receiving treatment, was brought to Bartın this morning.
The Quran is being recited and prayers are being offered at her home on Aydınlık Street in the Demirciler neighborhood of Bartın, where she was brought for the final time.
A PAINFUL FAREWELL TO ŞEVVAL
Following the final farewell, Şahin will be laid to rest in the family plot at the Halatçıyaması Cemetery after the funeral prayer to be held at the Şadırvan Mosque following the noon prayer.
The funeral ceremony is being attended by Amasra Mayor Recai Çakır, as well as Şevval Şahin's relatives, loved ones, and friends.
