Social media influencer turns out to be a drug dealer: Caught transporting drugs on his motorcycle
A famous YouTuber, who became an influencer by filming dangerous videos on his motorcycle and sharing them on social media, was caught transporting drugs from Istanbul to Izmir on his motorcycle. The influencer and his two friends, who were detained by Izmir Narcotics police, were arrested by the court.
Izmir Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch teams determined that the racing motorcycle used by social media influencer O.M., who has a large number of followers on social media, and a vehicle used by 2 suspects identified as acting in concert with him, were carrying drugs and were heading towards Izmir.
During a search of the racing motorcycle and the vehicle, which were stopped by police teams in the Kemalpaşa district, police seized 550 grams of methamphetamine, 750 ecstasy pills, 1 handgun, and 11 cartridges. O.M. and the other 2 suspects, who were detained as part of the operation, were arrested by the court to which they were referred following their procedures at the police station.

O.M., who is known for the dangerous motorcycle riding videos he posts on the video platform YouTube, had also drawn criticism from viewers for his content, which included high-speed motorcycle riding and having a folding mechanism installed on his license plate to avoid being caught by the police.
