It was claimed that the couple had defrauded their friends, hairdressers, manicurists, and even their drivers under the guise of 'advertising work.' Comedian and actor Kıvanç Talu and his wife Beril Talu, who is known in the advertising industry, were accused of defrauding their close circle and fleeing abroad.

THEY WERE DETAINED AT ISTANBUL AIRPORT

Following the complaints, teams from the Fraud Bureau of the Public Security Branch took action. As a result of the efforts, Kıvanç Talu and his wife Beril Talu, who were alleged to have fled abroad, were detained upon their return from Georgia when they arrived at Istanbul Airport.

"WE DID NOT DEFRAUD ANYONE"

The suspect couple, apprehended by the Fraud Bureau teams, did not accept the accusations. It was claimed that they said, "We did not defraud anyone. 'They lent us money and are now acting as loan sharks.'" Following the procedures, the Talu couple was referred to the Anatolian Courthouse in Kartal.
