Storm sinks fishing boats
In Antalya, where yellow and orange warnings were issued by the Meteorology Department due to the expectation of a severe storm, a fishing boat and a fiberglass boat moored at the harbor sank due to the storm. Owners of tour and fishing boats docked at Side Harbor have begun keeping watch over their vessels.
The storm, for which an orange warning was issued and which was expected to reach speeds of up to 110 kilometers per hour across Antalya, manifested itself alongside heavy rainfall in the Manavgat district during the night hours.

The storm, which caused trees to fall on the D-400 highway in the evening, was effective at the harbor in the Side neighborhood during the night hours.

A fishing boat and a fiberglass boat moored at the harbor sank due to waves crashing over the walking path.
Upon receiving news of the situation, the owners of other boats also arrived at the harbor to protect their vessels.
The storm is expected to continue throughout the night.
