Street interview of Tengioğlu, who attacked Özgür Özel, emerges: 'We need a deep state'
A street interview from 5 years ago featuring Selçuk Tengioğlu, who attacked CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, has emerged.
New details continue to surface regarding Selçuk Tengioğlu, who was arrested following his attack on Özgür Özel.
It has now emerged that Selçuk Tengioğlu, who was previously revealed to have killed his own children, gave a street interview 5 years ago.
In the interview, Tengioğlu is seen stating that he was in the same prison as Hayal, the instigator of the Hrant Dink assassination.
Some of the statements used by Tengioğlu in the interview, which is stated to have been recorded in 2019, are as follows:
"In 2004, I was in Bayrampaşa Prison with Yasin Hayal (the instigator of the Hrant Dink assassination). There were also very good, valuable people there.”
We love this country. But people like Sedat Peker teach those who think wrongly about our homeland, our flag, our nation, and our state the lesson they deserve.
If Sedat Peker were to say 'be a suicide bomber,' I would be dishonorable if I didn't.
We need a deep state."
