Support for education from Haluk Levent! Ahbap delivers its 20th school
Following the February 6 earthquakes, Haluk Levent and the Ahbap Association, who have worked day and night and made the greatest efforts to heal the wounds in the region, have provided full support to education by delivering their 20th school, Aktepe Secondary School.
Ahbap volunteers, led by artist Haluk Levent, have been by the side of the local people since the very first moments of the earthquake that left deep marks on our country's recent history, writing a true saga of kindness and charity. Touching the lives of hundreds of thousands of people from the first day to the present, Ahbap has delivered 450 homes in the region and has demonstrated its sensitivity toward education by building and delivering twenty schools in the earthquake zone.
Attending the opening ceremonies held in Hatay Akmeşe and Hassa, artist Haluk Levent stated that they would continue to build schools in 2025, saying, "We will continue to support the bright future and youth of this country, and to walk side by side, arm in arm with them."
