Taxi drivers threaten Martı TAG drivers they summoned by posing as customers

In Istanbul, where there are approximately 19 thousand taxis, the taxi problem continues. Martı founder and CEO Oğuz Alper Öktem made a striking post on his social media account.

In the video shared by Öktem, it was seen that some taxi drivers in Istanbul blocked the path of Martı TAG vehicles and threatened them with words such as "We will give the necessary treatment to these friends," "You will get out," "The situation is going to explode, let me tell you."

"WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS URBAN BANDITRY"

Öktem rebelled against the violence that Martı TAG drivers are subjected to. Sharing on his Instagram account, Öktem said, "I am addressing the yellow taxi lobby that organizes these incidents. We are not foreigners, we are not UBER, we are the children of this country. And we are not going anywhere. You are not the law enforcement of the state. What you are doing is urban banditry. There is justice, there is right, there is law. You will be held accountable for these actions before the law."

"DO NOT FALL FOR PROVOCATIONS"

Addressing the 59 thousand TAG drivers at the end of his speech, Öktem used the expressions, "We are behind you. Rest assured. Do not fall for these provocations. We are in the right and we will win."
