Tense moments occurred during the delegate election held by the Republican People's Party (CHP) Samsun Atakum District Presidency in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood.
The argument, which began outside the building where the election was taking place, quickly turned into a fight. A scuffle broke out among the crowd as kicks and punches flew.
Police teams dispatched to the area upon notification separated the parties and prevented the incident from escalating further. An investigation has been launched into the fight.
