After the match, the Fenerbahçe delegation, which did not leave the stadium, entered the pitch despite warnings and took a victory lap. Eventually, when some Fenerbahçe figures wanted to unfurl a flag and take a commemorative photo, Ali Çelikkıran attempted to intervene. Çelikkıran was assaulted by some individuals present at that moment.
