They showered the music hall they were denied entry to with bullets: One dead, one injured

In an incident that occurred on the night of November 12 in the 15 Temmuz neighborhood of Bağcılar, 4 people who arrived at a music hall were denied entry by the staff. Following an argument, the suspects, who were allegedly beaten and removed by the employees, left the scene.

THEY OPENED FIRE

Two hours after the incident, shots were fired at the music hall from a vehicle passing in front of it. At that moment, staff members standing at the door returned fire. As a result of the suspects' gunfire, staff member Mehmet Bamyacı, who was standing at the door, and commercial taxi driver Tunç K., who was waiting for a customer, were injured. Mehmet Bamyacı, who was taken to the hospital, lost his life.

MOMENT OF THE INCIDENT ON CAMERA

Following the incident, teams from the Public Security Bureau's Murder Office launched an investigation. Police obtained security camera footage of the moment of the incident.

Examining the cameras, the teams determined that the individuals who arrived in a white vehicle and carried out the attack were the same people who had come to the music hall earlier and were denied entry.

TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED

Teams from the Public Security Bureau's Murder Office conducted operations on the homes of the suspects whose identities were determined. Özgür İ., who has 17 prior criminal records, Yunus Emre T., who has 3, Eyüp E., who has 9, and Mehmet S., who has 10, were taken into custody. Following their interrogations, they were sent to the Bakırköy Courthouse, where Özgür İ. and Yunus Emre T. were arrested. The other two individuals were released under judicial control measures.
