HE HAD BEEN PROTESTED BEFORE
The victims, who had previously held a demonstration in front of the AKP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters, also gathered today in front of the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
During the demonstration, where police took extensive security measures, the victims reacted to Murat Kurum—the former minister of environment, urbanization and climate change, who has now been announced as the AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) mayoral candidate—with the slogan, "The victims are here, where is Murat Kurum?"
