Tragic news regarding baby Nazlı, who had been missing for 4 days: Her lifeless body has been found

Nazlı Şeşen went missing yesterday around noon while playing in front of her home in the Kocabaş neighborhood of Honaz district. Following her family's report, gendarmerie, AFAD, fire department teams, and non-governmental organizations were dispatched to the area. During the search efforts, footage from a house's security camera revealed Nazlı leaving her home, walking along the railway, and heading toward the bridge over Aksu Creek. Based on this footage, the possibility that the child had fallen into the creek was prioritized.

Divers from the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department conducted a search within the creek. During the search, one of Nazlı's slippers was found on the bank of the creek. Due to the high flow rate of Aksu Creek, the floodgates at the Akbaş Dam, which feeds the creek, were closed. The search efforts were joined by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Public Order Commando Team, Honaz Gendarmerie Station teams, and a gendarmerie search dog. Local residents also supported the efforts that continued throughout the night.

On the second day of the search and rescue operations, a team of approximately 500 people took part. The search, which covered a 50-kilometer area on land, was supported from the air by an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and a gyrocopter from the Aydın Gendarmerie Air Wing Command. While a 15-kilometer area along Aksu Creek was scanned from the air, 30 divers also conducted a search by forming a line in the water.

As a result of the intensive efforts, Nazlı Şeşen's lifeless body was found by divers in Aksu Creek and recovered from the water. Nazlı's body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.
