Two buses collide head-on in Sultangazi, Istanbul: There are injuries
Two IETT buses collided head-on in the Sultangazi district of Istanbul. It was reported that there were a number of injuries as a result of the accident.
An IETT bus traveling on a section of Sultançiftliği Barbaros Boulevard in Istanbul's Sultangazi district, where traffic was being directed to a single lane due to road work, collided head-on with another IETT bus coming from the opposite direction while attempting to merge back into its own lane at a junction.

Two people, including a child, were injured in the accident. Upon notification, police, medical, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured, A.R. (12) and a female passenger identified as Y.Ç., were taken to the hospital following initial intervention by medical teams. Traffic congestion on the boulevard caused by the accident returned to normal after the vehicles were removed.
