In his message released for the August 30 Victory Day, Minister Ersoy drew attention to the significance of this footage. Ersoy stated the following:
“We are celebrating the 103rd anniversary of the crowning of our struggle for independence and future with victory with indescribable pride. I would like to share with you this footage of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, which has been brought to light by our General Directorate of Cinema and is being released for the first time. In this footage, thought to have been filmed in 1935 or 1936, the Great Leader is seen with children at the Florya Marine Mansion.
